As much fun as it is to watch my husband hang diapers on the line we realized that living without a functioning washer and dryer wasn't something we wanted to endure for long. Hand washing poopy diapers? I don't think so.
The universe never disappoints me with timing. We took the money that would have gone to preschool (but won't) and were able to buy a set. Amazingly, after the $435 credit for buying a water saving, energy efficient machine it was very affordable.
Our homeschooling preschool plan is that we'll continue to set aside that money that we would have spent on preschool each month for learning activities like this. Museums, lessons, books and trips. Very excited by this idea!
What would you do if you had money set aside each month just for spending on family learning?
