It has been a looooooong time since anything new was added so I'm thrilled to have something new to share, finally. UPDATE - Everything is loaded in the shop!
First up, pencil cups and slates for at home learning! I'll be keeping one of each for my own creative space and love the idea of writing little messages (to myself) on the slate at my desk.
Next up, Easter eggs! I know it is a bit early, but I simply can't hold onto these any longer because they are just too darn adorable. I'm already tempted to keep them all for myself because they look so amazing all grouped together.
Our Easter Hunt Tradition: My family made up a special Easter hunt tradition of having a special, rare egg included with the normal eggs that are hidden. (we always used real eggs - never those plastic ones so common today - our special one was ceramic) It is an "odd egg" or what we sometimes called the "rotten egg" and which ever child finds it gets a special prize - it was usually a chocolate bunny, a book or that we got to pick what was for dinner over the weekend. This tradition is what I had in mind with the chicken sized wooden eggs above. Each year, parents hide the wooden egg somewhere very tricky and which ever child finds the "special egg" or "rotten egg" or "magic egg" gets a special gift.
Once the above items are gone - they are gone, I don't have plans to continue making any of these as regular items.
