Ever have so many blog posts in your head that you can't write anything? Check. I do want to share more about our Wisconsin trip so I'll post about the reason we go there in the first place. Family.
No, I didn't cut my hair...that is my mom babywearing my littlest guy. Something so special about this, especially as he is about to fall asleep. My mom is the baby sleeping master. She can get any baby to fall asleep. Her calm and patient nature I guess. Not at all like me.
My little jolly guy was passed from grandma to great grandma to aunt to great aunt and more on our trip. Seeing my baby held in the same arms as those that held me when I was tiny... makes the hellish plane rides both ways bearable.
I'm feeling nostalgic lately gearing up for the 4th of July this weekend. We're planning to go old school style, watching the local display from our front yard (a bonus of living on a hill) and grilling food. I'm excited that our new neighborhood has a display, that we don't have to fight the beach traffic madness. In case I don't post again this week (totally possible, I'm devoting all free time to glazing a new batch of ceramics) happy weekend!
